Warm-up How Many Do You See: Different Dots

How many do you see?
How do you see them?

  1. a set of four dots next to one dot.
  2. a row of three dots over a row of two dots.
  3. a set of 5 counters
  4. a set of two dots and a set of three dots

Activity 1 Make Number Books

Look through your recording sheet to decide what you would like to put on the first page of your number book about our school.

Remember that each page should have a number, a picture, and some words or a sentence.

Activity 2 Share Number Books

Each person will take turns reading their number book to their group.
